26/12/2021 Barcelona: One-day city tour
That was a relaxing day, and we didn’t do any “hardcore” bird watching as we had in the past four days. Instead, we took the subway and enjoyed a brief city trip to Barcelona. One of my friends had a deep interest in the buildings in Barcelona. Under his guide, we visited Parc Güell, La Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló. Maybe we had something else, but I really can’t remember. That day was about art, architecture, local culture, and history. We also had a new bird, Monk Parakeet, in several places all over the city, though not native. We returned the car in the afternoon and took the plane to Madrid.
